We use Meta advertising tools to collect and share online identifiers and website activity for advertising measurement and targeted advertising. Review our Notice at Collection or choose Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

TrueCost Group ("TrueCost Group," "we," "us" or "our") is an independent insurance agency. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit truecostenroll.com (the "Site"), call, text or email us, or work with one of our agents. It also explains your privacy choices and rights.

This Privacy Policy explains our information practices. It does not waive your privacy rights or replace consent where the law requires it.

Your privacy choices: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

The Site uses the Meta Pixel, which shares online identifiers and website activity with Meta Platforms, Inc. for advertising measurement and advertising. Under some state privacy laws this is a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out here. When browser storage is available, we save your opt-out in this browser and prevent the Meta Pixel from loading on later visits while that choice remains saved. If the choice cannot be saved, advertising sharing remains off on this page and the status message explains the limitation. No account and no identity verification are needed. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out request automatically.

Browser opt-outs and recognized Global Privacy Control signals stop this website's advertising sharing immediately. We process requests received by phone at 1-888-788-8285 as soon as feasibly possible and no later than 15 business days after receipt.

We request sensitive application information (Social Security number, payment information, and health questions on a carrier's application) only when needed for an insurance application or related servicing. Please do not include sensitive information in ordinary email or text messages. If you provide it in another communication, we handle it under the applicable privacy and insurance requirements. We do not use sensitive application information for advertising and we do not share it with advertising partners. Retention criteria are in Section 6.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

This Site has no forms. When you call, text or email us, or work with one of our agents, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, mailing address and date of birth; household information needed to quote coverage, such as the number and ages of people to be covered, your state and ZIP code. We also collect information needed for an insurance application or related servicing, which may include a Social Security number, payment information and answers to the carrier's health questions. Please do not send sensitive information through ordinary email or text messages. If you provide it in another communication, we handle it under the applicable privacy and insurance requirements. We also keep the content of your calls, texts and emails with us. Where calls are recorded, we provide notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law before recording.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting providers process technical information needed to deliver and secure it (IP address, browser type, requested pages, time of the request). When advertising sharing is enabled, the Meta Pixel also collects the information described in Section 3.

Information from other sources

When you apply for coverage, the carrier may share application status, policy and billing information with us so we can service your plan. Meta may provide us aggregate reports about how people reached the Site from our advertising.

2. How we use information

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. The Meta Pixel and browser storage

The Site includes the Meta Pixel, code from Meta Platforms, Inc. When it loads, it sends Meta the address of the page you viewed, the referring page, your IP address, browser and device information, and identifiers Meta associates with your browser or, if you are logged in, your Facebook or Instagram account. Meta uses this to tell us whether our advertising brought people to the Site and to deliver and measure advertising across websites and apps, under Meta's own Privacy Policy.

The only event we configure is a page view. We do not configure the pixel to send quotes, applications, coverage or health information. You can stop the pixel from loading with the opt-out at the top of this page, which also covers the no-JavaScript case because the pixel is loaded only by script. You can also control how Meta uses data from websites in your Facebook settings under Ad preferences and Your activity off Meta technologies.

We use browser storage to remember your privacy choice. When enabled, the Meta Pixel may use cookies and similar technologies for advertising measurement and targeting. Our fonts are self-hosted. Our hosting providers process technical information to deliver and secure the Site.

4. Phone calls and text messages

Contacting us allows us to respond to your specific request. It does not enroll you in recurring text messages or authorize unrelated marketing. We obtain separate permission before enrolling you in recurring messages and prior express written consent for marketing calls or texts whenever required by law or our messaging provider. This includes applicable calls using an artificial or prerecorded voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may withdraw consent by replying STOP, telling our agent, or calling 1-888-788-8285.

If you enroll in recurring text messages, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. After you opt out, we stop the messages covered by your request. We may send one non-promotional confirmation. A new inquiry does not restart recurring messages. Reply HELP for help. To receive recurring texts again, complete a new opt-in for that messaging program. We honor the National Do Not Call Registry and our internal do-not-call list, and we accept any reasonable request to stop calling or texting, not only the word STOP. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or call 1-888-788-8285.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers may process these records to deliver and manage our messages. A telephone number supplied for an insurance application may also be provided to the carrier to process and service that application. This does not transfer your SMS marketing consent.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. We share personal information only as described here:

6. How long we keep information

When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it.

7. How we protect information

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy rights

Privacy rights depend on your state, the information involved, and applicable legal exceptions. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and from whom, to correct it, to delete it (subject to records we must keep under insurance law), to receive a portable copy, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or information about recipients of your data, call 1-888-788-8285 and ask for a privacy request, or write to the address in Section 12. To opt out of sale or sharing, use the privacy choices at the top of this page; no verification is needed. For access, correction and deletion requests we verify your identity using information we already have. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of the agent's authority. We acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, and tell you if the law allows us more time and we need it. To appeal a denied request, reply to our decision or call 1-888-788-8285 and ask for a privacy appeal. Our decision will explain the reason for the denial and any applicable appeal or regulatory complaint rights.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Residents of California

The Notice at Collection above lists the categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and which categories are sold or shared. We collect them from you, your devices, the carriers and the service providers named in Section 5. Through this website, the sale or sharing we engage in is the Meta Pixel advertising data described in Section 3, and you can opt out at the top of this page or through a Global Privacy Control signal. Opting back in after an opt-out requires a separate confirmation. Information collected in connection with an insurance application may be subject to California's Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act rather than the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we handle it under the law that applies.

Insurance privacy notices

Insurance applications and policy servicing may be subject to separate federal and state insurance privacy requirements. This website policy does not replace any insurance privacy notice that we or your carrier must provide.

9. Children

The Site and our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, except as part of a parent's or guardian's application to cover a child under a plan. If you believe a minor has provided information directly, contact us. We will review it and delete information that we are not legally permitted or required to retain.

The Site may link to carrier websites and other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. We will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required by law.
